Whoa!

It's been a while since we have updated the blog for SketchBomb.  It's been difficult to keep everything up to date but I wanted to drop a post to remind everyone that the individual SketchBomb DA pages still update regularly.  The links to all of the pertinent SB pages are on the right had side -->

Also, the next San Francisco SketchBomb will be on February 25th.  For more details, go here.

Thanks,gang!

SketchBomb SF: This Saturday!

SketchBomb

Attention People of Earth!

Well, specifically San Francisco/Bay Area: It's that time again... A new month, a new SketchBomb!

:iconsketchbomb-sf:
This Month's SketchBomb will be held on Saturday, June 25th. Like always it will be at the Grove at 3rd and Mission in San Francisco at 8 PM Map Here SketchBomb is an open-invitation to any artist of any skill-level to come out and have a good time and sketch. Post any questions you have in this journal so we can get it all out in the open.

Ryan will take point on this one and there will be theusual familiar faces from SketchBomb.

How it works: We usually alternate between timed themes and free sketching and we always have Show and Yell so people can check out everyone's work.

The Grove has been super-awesome to us. I want SketchBomb to continue to bring them business and great vibes, too. They have good food, alcohol (but you don't have to be 21 to attend), and a bunch of other stuff so it would be great if we all got a few drinks or some food or whatever to thank them for the roof (and so we don't over-stay our welcome).

It'll be a good time!

See ya there!

SketchBomb Team Up!

Attention People of Earth!

This month the SketchBomb crew is going to try to do a bit of a crossover. Since the Sacramento and SF SketchBombs are relatively close to each other, we are encouraging as many people as possible to go to both SketchBombs in an effort to get more people to meet more people. So, we are doing them one week after the other....

SKETCHBOMB: San Francisco
This Month's SketchBomb: SF will be held on Saturday, May 21st. Like always it will be at the Grove at 3rd and Mission in San Francisco at 8 PM.

Afterwards we usually move to another location and do a 21 and older version at Irish Bank.

SKETCHBOMB: Sacramento
The following week on Friday, May 27th SketchBomb: Sacramento will be held at Tupelo Coffee House at 8PM

SketchBomb is an open-invitation to any artist of any skill-level to come out and have a good time and sketch.

All the usual peeps will be at their usual spots, but we have some guaranteed crossovers. Check out my journal on DA for a list of the artists as they are added.

How it works: We usually alternate between timed themes and free sketching and we always have Show and Yell so people can check out everyone's work.

I can have copies of my Art Book "FaceBomb: The Art of Mike Henry" for sale! If you want to nab up a copy there let me know so I bring enough. They are $25 a piece, 76 pages, Hardcover, Full color, and I'll do a sketch in each one!

We've had crossover before but never as a concerted effort. Hope to see you all there... it'll be a good time!

SketchBomb: Wondercon Edition!

SketchBomb

Attention Residents of San Francisco and those traveling from far-off lands!

It's already that time again... A new CON, a new SketchBomb!

I took a break from having SketchBombs while I was in Orlando (sorry those who wanted to attend) because it would have been three SketchBomb weekends in a row and I just can't take it, hehe. Not only is it a new SketchBomb... but it's the Wondercon SketchBomb! Are you attending Wondercon? Then stop on by!

This Wondercon Edition SketchBomb will be held on Friday, April 1st. Like always it will be at the Grove at 3rd and Mission in San Francisco at 8 PM . SketchBomb is an open-invitation to any artist of any skill-level to come out and have a good time and sketch. Post any questions you have in this journal so we can get it all out in the open.

Ryan and I will be there as usual as well as the usual familiar faces from SketchBomb.

How it works: We usually alternate between timed themes and free sketching and we always have Show and Yell so people can check out everyone's work. This one may be a little crazy due to numbers so I don't know yet if we will stick to this plan. I'd like to but sometimes SketchBomb becomes a bit unwieldy, hehe.
